  • Google’s Pixel 6 collection is reportedly not doing so nicely at US carriers.
  • The firm has resorted to supplying worthwhile kickbacks to salespeople to sell the flagships.
  • A lot of bugs and general performance problems with the telephones could be to blame.

The Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro are reportedly not promoting pretty perfectly. Exploration business Wave7 carried out a survey of salespeople at US carriers (h/t PCMag), and it seems to be like Google’s most up-to-date flagships don’t have lots of purchasers.

In accordance to the survey, the Mountain Perspective organization has resorted to “spiffs” to improve product sales numbers for the Pixel 6 line. The phrase is sector-speak for commissions or financial kickbacks. Samsung does this much too, but Google has cranked up the stages “very substantial,” Wave7 states.

Nevertheless, even with the incentives, the report notes that there is nearly zero fascination in the Pixel 6 sequence aside from Verizon. 1 provider rep explained to Wave7 that he experienced offered the new Pixels to people today who arrived in seeking Galaxy S22 versions just for the reason that the latter were out of stock.

In the meantime, Google set an all-time quarterly gross sales record for its Pixel vary in Q4, 2021. At the time, it stated that the response to the Pixel 6 from prospects and provider partners had been incredibly beneficial.

All eyes are now on Google’s forthcoming Pixel 6a, which is shaping up to be a mid-range machine that could be fairly preferred with people looking for a solid, additional affordable cell phone.
